I just want to ask if anyone has any recent experiences with staking deals that went really well or totally sideways? I’m considering a small stake for a low buy-in tourney grind and would love to hear how others structure profit splits or handle trust if it's someone you’ve never met in person.

Hey dude how's it going? I've only been staked once, years ago now, at the old PokerFarm. The experience of playing poker for a living was thrilling at first, but then it became a grind. I ended up not wanting to play poker for a long time after that. I was let out of my staking deal, so overall it was a good experience. Probably not so much for the company staking all the players. I'll ask around and see if anyone has any better advice for you.
Are you looking to stake someone or looking to be staked?

Good luck with your grind
